It was all right. A nice story, with a happy ending, and some good life lessons, such as learning not to feel sorry for yourself. I recommend it for younger teenagers.

I love this book. The descriptions of the mountains and trees were magnificent. This book has limited romantic gestures because it was published in 1949, however, the ones that are present are splendid on their own.
