Love the Divergent Trilogy. Allegiant is sad made me cry for a week. However I feel happy Tris died because she died knowing she was doing something important in her life which was sacrificing her life for people who she loved. In the third book she realizes that this is what she was meant to do all along however she just needed the right time and a good understanding to sacrifice her life. SO GO TRIS!!

Since the thing about Tris at the end has probably already been spoiled, I think that when Tris dies at the end, she learns the difference between suicide and sacrifice. This book also deals with a lot if perhaps, "big" question about our existence.

An overall well-written conclusion to the "Divergent" trilogy despite the sad ending

Disappointing ending, yet completely predictable. I've accepted it and am a little less excited to see the movie now. Tris has always been a martyr...

I didn't enjoy Allegiant nearly as much as the first two books in this series because it was very slow. In fact, as I read I kept expecting the characters to actually DO SOMETHING! The first two books were about action and revolution. The third book has a band of revolutionaries sitting around a lab chatting. That is how it felt as I was reading it anyway. I can accept the ending that every other reviewer seemed to hate because losing people you love during a war is a fact of life, and I liked the epilogue, but I agree completely with Emmawrites in regards to Evelyn. In fact, I think she was one of the most vile characters in the book, with the opportunity to make real change but instead just turning into another iron fisted 'ruler'. Meh. When I re read the series in the future I will just skip this volume completely.

One of the greatest series I have ever read! I love it so much! the end was heartbreaking but so worth the read. if you are reading this comment you already know that this is amazing or you NEED to read it!!! anyone and everyone. you wont regret it!

One of my favorite dystopian series!! This book was awesome, though not as much happened as much as in Divergent and Insurgent. The ending just brought me to incontrollable sobbing. It was beautiful and I can't wait to see this, and Insurgent come to big screen as successfully as Divergent.

Ok, i just finished easing the book a few days ago..and ever since that I couldn't stop thinking about it. I didnt realise how much i actually liked the main character tris, until she died. I knew i sort of liked her but when she died and i read Tobias point of view and how he dealt with it i felt so sad. I wanted to cry but i didnt. I am in awe and actually respect her more than I did before.

i loved the book UNTIL THE END I HATED THE END WHY OH WHY DID SHE KILL OFF (SPOILER) TRIS. Veronica Roth kind of set it up though, because she set the last book, AND THE LAST BOOK ONLY, up in a two person pov.

Dear Favorite Character, Did I give you permission to die? Sincerely, Person Who Now Has to Buy A Lot of Kleenex. Other than that, I loved the book!

"Hey." Zeke puts his hands on my shoulders. "This isn't about you remember? It's about her. Doing something she would have liked to do, something she would have been proud of you for doing. Right?" That's it I can't avoid this, I can't back out now, not when I still remember her smile as she climbed the Ferris Wheel with me, or the hard set of her jaw as she faced fear after fear in simulations.

"I suppose a fire that burns that bright is not meant to last." by Tobias. He concludes about Tris' life. Really strong quote.

I squeeze Tris's hand, praying that if I do it hard enough, I will send life back into her body and she will flush with color and wake up. I don't know how long it takes me to realize that isn't going to happen, that she is gone. But when I do I feel all the strength go out of me and I fall to my knees beside the table and I think I cry, then, or at least I want to, and everything inside me screams for just one more kiss, one more word, one more glance, one more.

She lies on the table, and for a moment, I think she's just sleeping and when I touch her, she will wake up and smile at me and press a kiss to my mouth. But when I touch her she is cold, her body stiff and unyielding.

I feel a thread tugging me again, but this time I know that it isn't some sinister force dragging me toward death. This time I know it's my mother's hand, drawing me into her arms. And I go gladly into her embrace. Can I be forgiven for all I've done to get here? I want to be. I can. I believe it.
