A modern retelling of Homer's Odyssey... like a drug induced dream.

This book was a lot different from what i expected. It's very much a retelling of Homer's THE ODYSSEY, but the way Block writes makes it beautiful. She is descriptive and really brings something different to the story. I was definitely intrigued by this story and found myself finishing it as soon as I started it. I think I will take a look at some of her other stories after this one.
