If the world ended up this way... It would be cool but scary at the same time!

Like what Reality_Escaper said, nothing interesting in the way of action was in the beginning; just foundational knowledge for the setting and story. I hope the subsequent books are better.

The overall plot is intriguing but it wasn’t until you were well into the book that it began to pick up speed. Much of the book was build-up and providing a foundation for the trilogy. Hopefully with that out of the way, the rest of the books will be faster paced and action filled. I look forward to the rest of this series and what happens to the characters.

Fairly interesting story, very annoying MC who is convinced she always knows what's best (though she's proven wrong time and again) and does whatever she wants regardless of what anyone else might say. Typical dark, mysterious hero/boy, who seemed like the same dark, mysterious boy featured in a hundred other books - disappointing lack of depth to his character. Honestly, I thought the best part of this book was the cover, which is gorgeous, but you don't get the meaning until close to the end. This is the first book of a trilogy, but I don't know that I'm interested enough to read the other two books.
