The artwork is definitely the high point of this work. It's well lined, well colored, and just overall technically very good. That said, the story is... Well, kind of a let down. It feels like the beginning of a hentai, except drawn out to cover several chapters without actually getting to the point. Even the addition of the weirdo at the end doesn't actually add enough interest to look for the second book. The pace is slow, even when Colby is panicking, and his inner monologue gets old fast. All in all, this book is a great artist who didn't have a solid writer behind them.

A pensive young man who feels out of place in his life ends up rescuing a mysterious, naked waif who immediately starts cooking meals for him (and is featured swimming happily with her cleavage in full view between every single chapter)...yeah, I think there might be some wish fulfillment at work here. Art is beautiful though.

A thoughtful graphic novel, drawn in an incredibly beautiful manga style, and in colour! The colours are a pretty washed-out pastel and are used to great effect, often reflecting on the mood or thoughts of the characters. Colby himself is interesting, as he struggles with a world in which he is at odds, and is thrust into an even more mysterious one. Can't wait for the next one!
