Rebel Muir thinks she knows who she is, who her family is and what she wants. Her dad is her best buddy and partner in resisting her mother's uber controlling schedules and lists. After breaking up with her new boyfriend and moving across the country with her family and to attend the school of her dreams Rebel gets a wake-up call. When her dad announces that he wants a divorce Rebel finds her world upside down. With newly opened eyes Rebel re-examines her relationships with those closest to her and re-evaluates her plans for college and the future.
