The fact that this book ends in a TOTAL cliff-hanger was rough. I want to know what happens, but I had trouble getting into the characters and story. I'm not a fan of multiple points of view because it gets confusing, and there wasn't that much of a story, to be honest. Like, there was a major plot but not enough interaction or background on all of the characters to really get a feel for why everyone was so revengeful or mean to begin with. *****also, this may end up being paranormal, because there was a hint of it at the end and I heard the next book is listed as paranormal...and that would just be weird, I think.

I haven't read this book, but I have read the the summer I turned pretty trilogy and loved them . Burn to Burn does have a sequel ( it's a trilogy ) coming out in september 2013 called Fire with fire and the last book is called Ashes to Ashes. Happy reading !

this was a great book but it ended very suddenly without really wrapping it all up. i hope there is a sequel coming because this book is incomplete without a sequel! but otherwise it is an extremely well written book that is relevent to all teenagers.

I actually really enjoyed this books, I was unable to put it down as I wanted to know what would happen next and how each of the girls would go about their revenge. This book is written from each of the three girls point of view, being that each chapter was written by each girl. I was shocked with the end due to the fact that it is not over, there should be another book in order to finish up the aftermath of the revenge that has been taken. Being a quick read was nice, however, there was some grammar and spelling errors. It was a good book and I do hope that the authors decide to finish this book up with a sequel.

This book was amazing! I can't wait for the next one. It will totally be on my list of favorite books!

the story was good, i liked the characters. didn't feel complete though. not sure how i feel about it..

Teenage girls taking revenge, I wouldn't want to piss them off or get in their way. This book centers around three teenage girls from a small island in the US. Each of the girls is from a different "clique" and each has different reasons why they want revenge. Kat, used to be popular and best friends with Rennie, before Lillia came to town permanently. Rennie decided that once high school was around the corner that she wanted to be popular and to rule the school, Kat wasn't too into the idea but was willing to go along with it, till the two girls got into a huge fight and Rennie refused to forgive Kat. Lillia and her money took Kat's place in Rennie's life. Kat being sick of Rennie and all that she now is seeks revenge on her, to put her in her place. Lillia moved permanently to the island just before high school, but her family would vacation on Jar Island before they moved there permanently as Lillia's family is very rich. What could Lillia have go so wrong in her life that she seeks revenge? Worried about one of her best friends making moves on her little sister she seeks revenge on him to put him in his place. Mary has returned to the island after being gone for years due to a tragic experience. She is unable to overcome her feelings and fears from this and wants to wrong the right, but did not think of revenge as the way to do it till Kat brings it up when they accidentally meet one night, the same night that Kat and Lillia were meeting up to discuss revenge. Can Mary bring herself to tell the other of the real problem? Can these girls each tell each other their real problems and reasons behind the revenge and what they seek to accomplish? Will the revenge work? Will they get caught? Will it work? So many questions and so many ways to go about their revenge, but what will have the most impact and how can they go about their daily lives as normally as possible to make it seem like nothing has changed?
