I thought that it was pretty good, though a lot more complicated than book one. The whole "time travel" gets a lot more complicated, and with the facemasks... I could have done without them. There were a lot of long passages with his time travel explanations that were a little hard to pay attention to, but it was good.

Ruins – Sequel to Pathfinder; a continuance of a story involving time travel. It is a very complicated novel and requires the reader to really focus while reading. However, it is a very interesting story. Highly recommended to my contemporaries; other teenage readers. Doctor-at-Bass! T. A.

MUST READ VOLUMES IN ORDER!! Otherwise confusing. Waiting for volume 3.

thiss book gets very intresting and the seconnd part at the beging of each chapter will make sence in the second book.

A deep, philosophical look into what it means to be human and how we judge and see others. The characters are complex, and the setting is realistic to an extreme. Great book and series.

I had such high hopes after finishing the Pathfinder(loved it!!), I couldn't wait to read this one. It was disappointing. And when I found myself almost falling asleep while reading this book under daylight, I knew it was time to put this down and find a new series.
