This is one fantastic book, the cliffhanger ending is a bit of a killer but I can barely wait for the sequel. It was heartbreaking and very bleak at times but overall awesome. I've already read it twice and will probably own it soon enough.
It wasn't bad, I hated the ending, WHAT A CLIFF HANGER! Geesh -.- I'll read the second one.
Jesus Christ! The preface has a serial rapist?! It seems as if douche frat boys will survive the apocalypse. "Just tell me your name. I need to know something so I can write your dislikes and likes in my rape book." Well now that I know what I am getting into. The thought of other horrific events while I force myself to finish the book makes me annoyed. What the f! Kresley?! You couldn't or wouldn't drop your rape undertones? ETA: I usually love the tacky that is Cole. This. Not. So. Much.As I have gotten farther in this book I find myself wondering why exactly she took Clueless and made it Southern. Is Evie going to break for animals right after her dimwitted boyfriend runs them over? I am expecting "the help" reference every time the plantation is mentioned. And now it's become Ireland with poor Catholic Cajun's that are mingling with the affluent Protestants. I am hoping for car bombs. I don't know how much more I can put up with this poor I hope for a lightening bolt to just hit Evie. Looks like the 1% is going to mess with the 99% and be taught about "real lufe" I feel bad for Cajun's right now.
