Quotes
Add a QuoteDo not go gentle.
If you let hope inside, it takes you over. It feeds on your insides and uses your bones to climb and grow. Eventually it becomes the thing that is your bones, that holds you together. Holds you up until you don't know how to live without it anymore. To pull it out of you would kill you entirely.
"You cannot change your journey if you are unwilling to move at all." pg. 232
In a story, you can turn to the front and begin again and everyone lives once more. That doesn't work in real life. And I love my real people the most. Bram. My mother. My father. Ky. Xander.

Add a CommentOh I loved this book soooooooooo much. ;)
This was a really good ending to the series. It may be my favorite book!
I found the first two more interesting. This book was predictable towards the ending, especially with whom Xander ends up with. I wish that Ally Condie would have written an epilogue.
I love the suspense in each chapter. I hope to be as good a writer as Ally Condie. This book is a true page-turner.
This book wasn't as good as the first two, and didn't explain many things very well. Such as the disease, who the pilot really was, Cassie, Ky and Xander's future. It lacks details in critical places. It was boring and dull at the end.
The book was ok. I was disappointed that it never really told us about the enemy - where they came from, why they're the enemy - and the other lands, what happens when you get there, why no one comes back. This book kinda just talked about those things but never really explained. Also I would have like to have more of a resolution for Xander, more information on what happens with him. And all the medical terminology was kinda confusing. But as an end to the series it was ok.
So I actually really liked this book. At times it was a bit confusing, but I still got it. I loved the suspense and it was hard to put this book down. My favorite part was the ending (the last 2 chapters a.k.a.). I thought this book was better than Crossed but not as good as Matched, but still very well written and very hard to stop reading. Alas, it must all come to an end.
A good book. Not a whole lot seemed like it was happening but stuff was happening. Things get wrapped up. I found the ending was a good ending for the series. I liked how the book was told from Cassia, Ky and Xander's perspectives. Matched was my favourite book in the trilogy but all the books were great. Reached ended the series nicely and I enjoyed reading it. I have to say though that I loved the covers of all the books.
This conclusion to the series was ok but kinda dull moving towards the end. I expected a little bit more sice it was the last book. It wasnt a book where i couldnt put it down because it was slightly boring which is why i skimmed through the book cause i couldnt read it all.
I found this final installment in the Matched trilogy disappointing. It lost my attention as it neared the end. Whereas the first two books were fast reads for me, I found myself putting the book down one too many times. What I DID like was reading more about Xander's character. I felt like this was more about his side of the story. I stopped cheering for Cassia and Ky early on. I was more interested to find out how things would turn out for Xander.
