It was an interesting approach to investigating racism, and what happens when the other side of town happens to be the living dead. Lots of stereotypes get explored in a very neutral setting, in a realistic way by a group of teenagers just moving through this world that they inhabit.

This book was ok. Not that great, but an interesting enough storyline that I finished it. I liked that it is a humorous, different take on vampires, but the characters are kind of boring.
