Add a CommentNot as good as the first book, Paranormalcy. The second and third books in my opinion were not so great. The author could have done so much more with the plot. It sounds like it was a struggle writing this book and she just put together the ending and got it over with. Evie sounded like she could never choose whether to be good or bad and just complained about mostly everything. Would have been better if she could save herself at least a few times or maybe start taking souls to not die as fast and be with Lend. The ending was terrible in my opinion. Ending with the fact that that happens to Lend was not at all what I expected and she could have thought of a more complicated, happy, and well- written ending.
I haven't read this book or the first one yet but despite all that,I might find this series interesting. If you are a spoiler,Please do NOT tell me anything about it.
Awesome book though not as good as the first book Paranormalcy which was completely and utterly AMAZING!!!!!! I was curious as to if Evie would decide she didn't want to be with Lend anymore but with Reth instead. I enjoyed this book and found the ending was pretty good (very sad though). I just wish that the ending wasn't so sudden and a bit more complicated. But overall a good ending to an absolutely wonderful series.
I like the cover but she could have done so much more with this series
Although the plot was interesting, the main character just wasn't in this book. Her whining, her intractability plus the loss of the dialogue between her and her friends, who are largely separated from each other in this installment, is noticeable.
Just finished my ARC. This book is bleeping perfect. If you loved the other two books, you won't be disappointed.
