no spoilers keep it to yourself if all your going to do is spoil it

*SPOILER ALERT* I was really sad when I finished this, to the point that I'm making a Fanfiction to come after this where everything is good and happy and everyone lives. It's a must read, but prepare to have your emotions butchered.

The first three books (The Angel Experiment, School's Out--Forever, and Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports) were SO much better than these last four books. The Final Warning was... ok) The conclusion to this one was incomplete. I was so confused!

What the heck was going on in this poor excuse of a 'conclusion'? So Angel's the Voice. Ari comes back like, what, five times in total? And in the end, no one, not even Dylan, IS DEAD? The world is not saved, but implodes or something, and reduced to sea and charred rubble? What? So many characters were unneeded, so I guess Patterson finally realized this and just, bam, got rid of them unexpectedly - that part I could deal with, but they sort of left loose ends. So Ms. Martinez is supposedly evil. Then she suddenly 'snaps back' to reality and goes "Oh jk im not evil haha! Blame Jeb not me ok want some cookies?" Like what. really. REALLY. The last three books, Fang, Angel, and Nevermore, in the Maximum Ride series were completely strange, similar to Twilight, and utterly unneeded. Honestly, James Patterson should've ended the series at book 3. Even though global warming IS important and yada yada, I really don't think The Final Warning should've been published. Everything began going downhill after Saving The World And Other Extreme Sports. Nevermore has some serious issues. The only cool part of the book is the cover. That's it. - A disappointed reader

ONE FREAKING WORD to describe the ending... HUH? *spoiler* first: Angels the voice? um, I always thought it would be Jeb, right, even though he refused it was him. Second: Okay so Max dies. third: she comes back to life fourth: she starts sounding like a freaking whitecoat 'oh, we were made for this, IT'S OUR WORLD NOW! SUCK THAT YOU DARN NON-MUNTANT FOLKS! you're dead, no one freaking cares.' 'it is my time' 'the time of Maximum Ride' whazzup with that? 80 I honestly just finished Nevermore 10 minutes ago. Too much, Too much... Gosh, I haven't been this frozen and depressed since the clockwork princess epilogue! worse-ending-ever but still-a-good last-book

This was a great ending to an amazing series. I'm really confused, though. Wasn't Max supposed to "save the world"? In the end *spoiler alert* all the humans were wiped out. How did Max save the world if the world is practically lifeless? Isn't the term 'save the world' mean that you would save the world and everything on it? The rest of this series was amazing, but I just thought the book ended to soon. rowanross10, everyone went down to the caves on the island, so yeah, everyone survived. Sorry everyone if this comment has been a major spoiler.

"'NOOOO!' On the screen, a woman's eyes bugged almost out of her head, and I tried not to scream. Tried not to scream in exasperation, I mean. The serial killer was right in front of her, wide open! Clearly, instead of weeping like a moron, she should be lunging forward and administering a swift uppercut to his chin. Then this entire pointless ordeal would be over with, and I could go home." -Ch 30

Our eyes met, and just like that, my legs hurtled me forward and suddenly I was hugging him tightly. Fang's uninjured arm went around my shoulders. "You came back," I wispered, hating the longing in my voice. "Did you think I wouldn't?" he asked with a half smile that was infuriating and devastating and revealed nothing and everything at the same time . A smile I had known all my life.
