Summary
Add a SummaryAt the end of Matched, Cassie has discovered that her match with Ky was planned, but does not know by whom. They were purposely put together and watched. Her actions were all predicted ahead of time, and she has fulfilled all that they predicted she would do, including placing Ky in the category for advancement. They knew she was aware that he was smarter than he let on and that human emotions played a part in her decision. We also saw that Xander was not all we had thought, in that he had been jealous of Ky for a while, but would do anything for the love of his life, Cassie. When Cassie told him about Ky's picture on her card, he stated the obvious, "I was there too, Cassie. You only chose to see him". Xander is definitely more than he appears, I dont know if I want her to chose Ky or Xander.

Everyone has something of beauty about them. In the beginning for me, it was Ky's eyes I noticed, and I love them still. But loving lets you look, and look, and look again. You notice the back of a hand, the turn of a head, the way of a walk. When you first love, you look blind and you see it all as the glorious, beloved whole, or a beautiful sum of beautiful parts. But when you see the one you love as pieces, as whys-why he walks like this, why he closes his eyes like that-you can love those parts, too, and it's a love at once more complicated and more complete.

choose... Xander...... :| all i can say :P this is kind of like hunger games in a way, not the general way but love triangle :P
For such a killer cover this book was crap. The first one wasn't that awesome but at least it didn't leave me super let down
This book is great!!!!!!!! I loved Matched. I can't wait when the last book comes out! {Reached}
This book is really good. A great follow up to the first one
I actually liked this book much more than the first one. It was more adventerous. I can't wait for the third one.
I actually thought this one was just as good, if not better, than the first one! I liked being able to know more about Ky's perspective.
The first book was a lot better than this one. I read several reviews that said the same thing but I still couldn't resist the urge to get the book for myself because the first one left me desperate to see what came next. This one was such a letdown I am going to have no problems waiting for number 3 to come out.
I really liked Matched but Crossed wasn't as good (but still worthwhile reading). I didn't find out until after I finished Crossed that there is a 3rd book in the series coming out. I found the continuation between Matched and Crossed wasn't written very well. A few times, I found myself asking "Did I miss something?". Anyways, what do I know?! Read it and see if you like it. I do plan on reading the 3rd to see how it ends (hopefully).
Before I read this, I though that Starryfightnight007 was just being too critical. Now I see that she wasn't. This book is crap. I was anxious to read it after loving the first, but now I wish I hadn't. The first was amazing, still placing above many of the others books I read but this served as a huge letdown. There was action, yes, plenty of it. But while there was action I never was... able to get into it, you might say. It seemed like all there was, was words. I had to remind myself to finish it. I kept hoping it'd get better but it didn't. If anything, it got worse. I know I'll be reading the third book, for a fact. I'm hoping this was simply a bit of a dud. When I do read the third book, it'd better be amazing. Otherwise this series is just going to be another Hunger Games. Great beginning and one failure of an ending.
