Add a CommentA good story that teaches us that we can have fun without electronics. Also teaches how neighbourhoods can come together and not be so isolated.
A gorgeous book that tells the story that I also have from my adolescence during the blackout - it's a time when families and neighbourhoods truly come together. Who knew electricity got in the way of so much fun?
Gorgeous book! The illustrations are fantastic and the story reminds us to slow down and connect with the ones we love. Will be adding this our home collection!
A wonderful story about how a blackout can mean family time in this hectic world.
Son is terrified of blackouts but this book made him smile :)
