After reading The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, I scooped this book up. It was a bit slow, but the concept of family dynamics and soul searching was well done. I, like Emma, grew up with much older siblings, and you really don't know all the family stories, and you do sometimes feel alone. I really like the section of the book where Emma and her sister, Annie, reconnect.

I expected a lot more from the author, because the first book i read from her was The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight and it was amazing; absolutely loved it. And this one was sort of a disappointment. It was slow, and I really didn't like Emma's character that much because she was really bratty most of the time.
